Books on Paleo Diet

For those who have not read The Paleo Diet eBook, I’ll give you a brief overview of what it is and the reasons why you should be interested in it. When we were human beings, our diet consisted primarily of plant-based foods like fruits and vegetables. This was the diet that we ate for thousands of years until around the 3rd century A.D., when the Paleo diet split off into two different groups: Paleo nutritionists and Evolutionary nutritionists. The Paleo nutritionists focused more on including as many natural foods as possible in their diet, and they made every effort to eat meat as rarely as possible. The Evolutionary nutritionists, on the other hand, focused more on hunting animals and getting them to be as lean as possible.

So why did these two different groups of dieters create two different diet plans? Well, the Paleo diet claims that the Paleolithic man ate much less fat and much more natural foods, and therefore was very healthy. It also says that the caveman diet made up for the lack of fat and other unhealthy foods by eating large amounts of red meat, cooked and processed foods, refined grains, legumes, dairy products, and salt. However, it is important to note that this is not necessarily how humans used to eat until quite recently!

So how do we make sense of all of this information? The Paleo diet tries to make sense of human diets in that it suggests that humans used to live way back then in a much healthier way than we do now. It’s also been explained that the caveman diet was filled with fish and other seafood, as well as plants such as nuts and seeds. These foods were actually higher in nutrition than those available today. It is also suggested that the caveman diet gave us some protection from infectious disease and other health problems that are common today, because it eliminated all those harmful “innovations” that modern man has been introduced to.

And all those foods that were eliminated from the diet must have provided some sort of nutritional benefit in the form of vitamins and minerals. And since these types of foods are higher in nutrition than others, they must have provided an advantage over other foods. This explains why people on the Paleo diet have been found to have higher energy levels, as well as lower body fat percentages than those on other popular diets.

In addition, these foods tend to be very fresh. Our ancestors lived in a very limited period of time, and food availability would often change depending upon where you lived. Since human beings have adapted to eat a specific kind of food throughout the course of our evolution, it makes sense that if you return to the caveman diet, you will still eat those foods that your ancestors ate for the longest time. Modern man is really just an evolutionary accident.

The reason why these books about the Paleo diet are so popular is that so many people are looking to eat a natural, “authentic” diet that is void of all of the additives and chemicals present in commercialized foods. Many people are also looking to reduce or eliminate gluten, which is commonly found in breads and pastas. The Paleo diet was created by someone who actually knows what it is like to eat in the way that human beings used to eat. It’s interesting that many of the same foods that cause ailments in modern society were also eaten by our ancestors. For instance, honey, saffron and garlic all contain healing properties. None of these foods are found in modern table salt.

People who follow the Paleo diet believe that this kind of food is very healthy because it contains all of the nutrients that our bodies need in order to function properly. This food is also very high in protein and low in carbohydrates. Unlike most diets, you won’t find any high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners in Paleo products, which is a common ingredient in non Paleo diet food. Most Paleo foods are high in vitamins and minerals as well, so you will feel satisfied, even if you’re not eating the tastiest foods around. And because you are eating naturally, you will avoid toxins that were present in non-organic meats and processed foods of years gone by.

There are many Paleo cookbooks out there that offer recipes for different Paleo meals. These include everything from breakfast foods to desserts. Even if you don’t like Paleo foods, once you try one of these tasty new recipes you may just become a fanatic!
