In fact, I was particularly surprised to discover that my son had never even heard of “omnivore cookbooks.” He loves to watch the Discovery Channel and loves cooking as well, so he didn’t seem likely to be interested in one. And a lot of these books were for adults and did not contain a very age appropriate or family-friendly style of cooking.

So what I found were a couple of new books on vegan cookbooks, mostly aimed at vegetarian children. They included some good and some bad.
