It is the latest in what we in the health field call “low carb” recipes that claim to help you lose weight while actually causing more harm than good. As with any other product in the “carb” category, there are always claims, counter claims, and scientific studies to back up such claims. There are just too many different ways to lose weight: exercise, strict diets, pills, and even weight loss shake. With this cookbook, there are just over twenty ways to eat low carb meals that claim to be beneficial for weight loss while actually causing more harm than good.

This low carb high fat cookbook provides detailed descriptions of each recipe, including nutrition information and recommendations on how much food should be eaten at each meal. Also included is information on how eating right can help maintain your general health and your body’s ability to burn fat for energy. It is important to understand that these statements have not been tested with actual humans, but that the author has personally used the recipes as part of her daily routine. Also, the Truth about Fat Cookbook does not star one of its own models – rather it uses recipes from the book of The Atkins Diet. This may be of interest to some people who do not like to hear that their favorite TV personality cannot lose weight by following such strict dietary guidelines.

The most exciting thing I found about The Healthy and The Unhealthy Pathway was the 100 recipes that it contains. These recipes are not only healthy but they are also tasty and satisfying. There are also a lot of recipes for low carb and high fat, stir fries, salads, soup, desserts, chicken dishes, appetizers, dips, and even quick and easy drinks. It really has everything that a cookbook should have. And since the recipes are all so delicious, you will never have to compromise on what you eat because every recipe is guaranteed to taste great.

There are more than three hundred fifty pages worth of content, including a full-color index. The Healthy and the Unhealthy Pathway are not just a recipe book, though. In fact, there are so many recipes included that you may find yourself wanting more than one book! I particularly liked the section titled “Desserts” which had many suggestions for healthy dessert recipes. These recipes include everything from ice cream toppings to cheesecake toppings to fruit toppings to chocolate sauce.

This cookbook is similar to low carb high fat cookbooks in that the focus is on healthy foods that are delicious and satisfying. This book does emphasize that you should be eating in moderation and should limit portion sizes because you are burning more calories than you are eating. There are many recipes included in this cookbook that are very easy to make and don’t take much effort on your part to prepare. The recipes themselves include things like pizza and pasta salad as examples of quick and easy meals that are both tasty and satisfying.
